The Manitoba Driving Society (MDS) is proud to launch the Carriage Master Awards, which will recognize the involvement and engagement of all MDS members.

1. There will be four (4) prize levels/categories:

   1. Happy Trail-er = 935 points

   2. Wagoneer = 1,400 points

   3. Trail Master = 1,825 points

   4. Bad Ass = 2,340 points – all ‘events’ and 40 practice drives

2. Points are accumulated for the following: (This will be done by the honor system.) 

   1. # Practice drives – 10 points for each drive

   2. # MDS Clinics attended (Learn to Drive, Bridge, Safety, Precision  etc) – 50 points

   3. # Navigator/groom (clinics & events) – 50 points

   4. # MDS meetings attended – 50 points

   5. # MDS Events (includes Fairs identified in calendar for MDS program) driven in – 50 points

   6. # MDS Events volunteered at – 50 points

   7. # MDS Social events attended – 50 points

The MDS calendar has numerous scheduled – meetings, clinics, events, and social activities throughout the year.

In the event some ‘events’ are cancelled for any reason, the target point level for each category will be adjusted accordingly.

 

Note: Points are tabulated from November 1st to October 31st (to include points for attending the the AGM & Christmas Party/Banquet the previous calendar year).

 

This system for awarding points to all MDS members, if they navigate and volunteer, and attend meetings and events will have an opportunity to feel: recognized, included, and like important, contributing members of the Club.

 

The Awards to be presented to all who achieve them at the  AGM and Christmas Party/Banquet.
